An Advisor that knows your box
It sees the Pokémon you scanned, so every answer names yours, and says so when you don’t have one yet.
- Who should I power up for Darkrai raids?
- Best Great League team from my box?
- Which of my Machamp is worth keeping?
Scan your box in minutes, then ask what to power up, which copy to keep or which team to bring. Every answer names Pokémon you actually own, not a generic tier list.
It sees the Pokémon you scanned, so every answer names yours, and says so when you don’t have one yet.
Start a screen scan and swipe through your appraisals. Dustwise reads species, CP, HP and IVs as they go by, so grading a whole box takes minutes, not an evening.
Screens are read on the device and never uploaded. Ask the Advisor and it gets your question and a summary of your box, never a screenshot or your email. Dustwise never logs in to or changes the game, and works without an account.
Everything in Dustwise starts from the Pokémon you scan. Here’s what each part of the app does with them.
Home puts what you own next to what’s on in the game right now.
Every Pokémon you scan gets a letter grade, with its CP, level and IVs beside it.
+family, types, CP and IV ranges, shadow, lucky, &, , and !. Grades too: a+ finds everything A or better.
Open any Pokémon to see why it got its grade, in plain words, worked out on your phone.
The Advisor is an AI (Claude, by Anthropic) that answers from the Pokémon you own, not from a tier list.
It can be wrong, so check before you spend dust. It sees your question and a summary of your box, never your screenshots or your email.
Battles turns this week’s raids and Max Battles into a plan.
A grade judges a Pokémon as what it becomes, against the best of its type, for raids, Max Battles or a league. CP and level don’t count: that’s dust already spent. IVs matter less than you’d think, and only nudge a grade at the very top and the very bottom.
Start a screen broadcast and swipe through your appraisals in Pokémon GO. Dustwise reads each one as it goes by, then tells you which it missed and gives you a search to find them.
Record yourself swiping through appraisals. About three seconds a Pokémon, so 50 take under three minutes. Anything already in your box isn’t added twice.
Appraise, take a screenshot, then add a whole batch at once. Back Tap makes each screenshot a single tap.
Dustwise reads CP, HP, IVs, catch date and power-up cost, and works out the level from them. It doesn’t read moves or candy. The game needs to be set to English, and Dustwise needs an iPhone without a Home button.
Dustwise never logs in to, connects to or changes Pokémon GO. It only reads your own screen, the same way you’d look at a screenshot. It doesn’t need your game account at all.
Not yet. Dustwise is iPhone only for now. If you’d like an Android version, email support@dustwise.app: knowing how many people want it helps decide what comes next.
The beta is free on TestFlight, Apple’s app for testing new apps.
Invites go out by email from Apple when the TestFlight beta opens, in the order people joined the list.
They’re read on your iPhone and never uploaded. Only the Pokémon it finds are kept. With live scanning, the screen is read only while you’re broadcasting, and nothing is recorded.
Your question and a summary of your box: how many you have, your best of each type, your trainer level and stardust. Then details of particular Pokémon when it needs them. Never your screenshots or your email. The Advisor is Claude, by Anthropic, and its answers can be wrong, so check before you spend dust.
Dustwise works out its grades and rankings itself, from the game’s own data, and builds on work the Pokémon GO community shares freely:
Thank you to everyone behind them. Dustwise isn’t affiliated with any of these sites, and each one is credited in the app too.
No. Everything works without one. An account is optional and only backs up your box and your conversations.
An iPhone without a Home button, and Pokémon GO set to English. It reads CP, HP, IVs, catch date and power-up cost. It doesn’t read moves or candy, so grades assume the best moveset.
No. It’s an unofficial, fan-made app by an independent developer, and isn’t affiliated with or endorsed by Scopely, Niantic, Nintendo, The Pokémon Company or GAME FREAK.
The beta runs on TestFlight for iPhone. Join the list and you’ll get an invite as places open, plus a say in what gets built next.
